Well, not law exactly. More like Long Legs of Bounty Hunting, but that doesn't make for good alliteration.
A viewer's comment reminded me that I had this drawing lying about.
Rally Vincent is easily one of my favorite anime characters! She's like Pam Grier with big eyes.
Seriously. Ever see the movie "Foxy Brown?" Let me tell you, Kenichi Sonoda must have!
In the scene where Foxy draws her gun after distracting the female mob boss and her henchmen with a jar containing her husband/co-boss' family jewels preserved in formaldehyde*, Pam moves just like Rally Vincent as she mows down her foes.
I wouldn't be surprised to learn they rotoscoped Ms. Grier to make the anime.
* I know that was a bit of a spoiler, but com'on man, the film came out in 1974!

Oh wow, what an intriguing find... I've had this piece on my hard drive for years, since I'm also a gigantic fan of Gunsmith Cats (did you buy into the kickstarter for the BluRay release?), and I obviously knew it was drawn by you, but I completely failed to realize that it came from this particular gallery.

Hmmm, maybe you're thinking of a different thing? There are actually two Keichi Sonoda Kickstarters being worked on right now (I backed both). One is a BlueRay re-release of the Gunsmith Cats OVA . The other is a new Bean Bandit-focused project from Sonoda.

Sonoda apparently loved those 70s action movies- in particular, Bean Bandit was influenced by the 1978 movie, "The Driver".
