I was looking at Hal Foster a lot back then and every wooded background I did has a Prince Valiant free to it.

Hal Foster and all the "Prince Valiant" artists after him rock! Very cool to see Jonny Quest!

i see an almost "joe kubert" like approach to this. i think its mostly in the way it was inked. but then again, i think joe and hal were in that same era. hal was older, right? i know joe is 81 now. i graduated from his school last year. i've been a fan of your work since i saw your stuff in the "drink and draw" book. your art is great.

That's so weird. I was going to say that the lettering reminded me of lettering class at the Kubert school.

Hy Eisman was the balls.
