Reminds me of a servitor from Warhammer 40k.

This is pretty much how I'd been imagining Charles Neumann looking towards the end of the novel in Max Barry's Machine Man. Only his mechanical exoskeleton was black and chrome and without a face-obscuring mask, just an armored helmet.

Man I love your Neo Japan stuff so much and it has been a big influence in some of my work. Plus I'm always reminded of ghost in the Shell for some reason when I see some of your art. Keep up the marvelous work!

Creepy af
If you're gonna go machine that much, might as well just stick your brain into a computer - no need to drag the extra organic parts around amirite?

cybernetic body horror is not about what's mechanical but what flesh remains

Maybe it's the yellow, but it reminds me of Wilhelm from Borderlands 2.

Hmm... Now the real question is, was this the cause of the amputations, or the solution to them?

You said it! Seriously cool and grotesque at the same time. Kinda like the Robocop remake. Always meaningful to be reminded of the "oh shit!" side of cybernetics.
Very badass approach.Β

Indeed Rob! I can't imagine what it would be like to kind of have that level of cybernetics implemented/replaced into oneself, like in the Robocop remake.

This here looks like a really rough transformation. Doesn't look very fun. Empowering, but also sobering and sad. Immediately you're like, "Oh, damn! What is this guy's story?"
IMO that's what makes a great illustration. Compelling character right off the bat.Β
