I remember this child. She went missing at a ball park. The last time she was seen she was leaning against a car emptying sand from her shoes.

A tragedy that should not have taken place.

We still look for her.

What a wonderful way to pay tribute to these children, and to help this heartbreaking epidemic.

Its is beautifully painted, and brings across the innocent essence of this little girl. Bravo!

Thank you very much. I am very happy with how she came out. I fought to keep the painting from appearing pretty in a superficial way. I wish her and her family love and peace.

And I think you were completely successful.Doing a lifelike portrait wouldnt be nearly as powerful. You don't know this little girl personally and doing a super realistic portrait of her would be inappropriate, don't you think?

oh yes.

I am excited when the paint, happens to evoke a face...

That is real magic to me.
