Description The Lemon Sunrise

2013 - 36" x 12" - oil on canvas

This was a shoot from the hip, automatic painting I did right after I had finished up all the cosmos paintings, and wanted warmer colors, with more chunky shapes that ended up looking like bar condiments lined up on in a surreal monument valley.

Thank you! These long skinny pieces are really fun to figure out. This one just ended up looking like a huge sunset of fruits and veggies
