I'm a product of the 80's, so, chronologically speaking, I have the right to mock any era before me. However, it's very upsetting to see those blasted kids from the 90's make fun of us ... don't they know that humanity achieved perfection in the 80's?

I think fashion has been going downhill since top hats went out of style. Strange though that a great deal of the music of my era is still held in high regard. I saw a pole a day or two ago in which The Doors were coming out top. I must say I was delighted, I love their dark edginess.

Agree and it's unfortunate, top hats really should make a comeback
Not strange at all: I think musicians from the past -and those decades to be more precise- really got in touch with their souls and hearts, and because there weren't ways to make all those fancy sound effects, they worked in a limited area that made them push their creativity. I like Herman Hermit, their songs always put a smile on my face but The Doors are also amazing!

I'm afraid I remember almost all the words to every song I heard in the late sixties early seventies. As I may have said before, I regard song lyrics as the peoples poetry.

Yup, you mentioned it and I agree in spanish there are still some trovatori, and their songs echo protest and people's feelings, although they are not all that popular...

All four people pics are done with biro and brush. I hadn't tried this combination before, but I think they worked fine together, and I'll be useing them again in future.
