Well, you need a Mac.

And then you get a program called Xcode offa Apple's website.

Then you learn the language Objective-C and use that to make iPhone apps.

Then you download this awesome library called cocos2d, powered by OpenGL ES, which makes 2d graphics rendering fast and easy, which I use to make games with. =D
You gotta be over 18 or own/have some company publish the app for you though when it's finished. I'm using my mom's company, lol. (I'm only 16 ): )
You either publish as a person, (gotta be 18), or publish as a company
