Sorry, I don’t know, what does “AVPS” mean?
Can you decipher it to me?

Haha it means A Very Potter Musical. That is a line they say in one of their songs.

What's Gryffindorish about it? Gryffies are known for courage, not sentiment.

Not that there aren't sentimental Gryffies-- of course there are. But their sentimentality is not what makes them Gryffies.

I love your colors! It's a wonderful drawing.

Thank you for your comment!
I think that not all students, who were accepted on the faculty of Gryffindor were really Gryffies in their hearts. (like Peter Pettigrew)
And not all students, who were accepted on the faculty of Slythering were Slythers. (Like Slughorn )
And Luna? She is very courageous. Like Gryffies))) Maybe the hat gives one of the ways?

- “Gryffies are known for courage, not sentiment”

Certainly not.) for me Gryffindor is force, friendship, selflessness and love.
But I think it is possible at any faculty.

When you think about it, friendship, selflessness, and love, are not specifically Gryffindor characteristics, either. That doesn't mean certain individual Gryffies don't have those characteristics, but that's not what makes them Gryffies. What makes them Gryffies is courage.

I think fans write off Peter Pettigrew too easily, largely because JKR herself does so. The Sorting Hat saw courage, or the seeds of it, in Peter at eleven; what happened to turn him into the Dark Lord's "most cowardly servant"? We're never given Peter's backstory the way we are with Snape. The only hint is in "Snape's Worst Memory," when every word James and Sirius say to and about Peter is a put-down. It can't have been fun being the Marauders' in-house Snivellus. They gave Peter no reason to defend them against the Dark Lord's threats of torture and death.

I heard that JKR is going to write a background of HP (About times of Marauders). I think, she won't leave Peter’s story without explanation. Who knows, perhaps his destiny is not easier than Snape’s destiny.
Let's wait for the book.
