I initially thought i could color this in 3 to 4 hours, and I did have something passable at that point. But I ended up sinking another 8 hours into it, bringing some of the highlights down, find ways to make things look richer. all in all a fun piece.

The lighting on the webbing is absolutely amazing. How it transitions from the teal looking backlight to the warm tones in the front is incredible. The lighting on spidy isn't as effective (*mostly because of his left knee) but is still captivating!

yeah- i really went against the penciller's intentions when I chose my light source and have since learned not to do that, but on the plus side, it's a guarantee that it's a unique interpretation. thanks for the compliments on the webbing.

thanks for holding me in such high esteem. I think the penciller is already well established in the industry though (not that I would say no if the oppurtunity arose!). I don't know what GZ's story is- but I can say I like his inks on this piece very much.
