Indeed! I have always loved Toppi's work and finally able to get some books of his a year ago. I love to just look at his way to solve design and drawing problems. What a great loss...

Raf -I think it's because I took the chance to just "get it out of my system" that I don't have to ink and design everything I do in a "house" type style. Also the study of Toppi has left me wanting to push more towards design and drawing. Trying to figure out how someone like him would approach anything is hard, altho he does use a few repetitive formulas in his work...the man is genius and I've been looking at a lot of his work trying to imagine going in that direction. Your comments mean a lot, thanks!

Thx, Chris! Would love to see you do a marker "Shadow" piece! He's pretty kool to draw, especially since you can work in a lot of, err...shadows and other kool graphic elements!
