i really think you should compress your images. i'm curious, but really didn't have time to wait for almost 2MB file to load!
for pic of these dimensions, you should have filesize of about 150KB, 250KB at most.

Yeah my earlier images were a bit too large, I agree. But 250kB is really too small for good quality images, maybe 500-600kB PNG's 
Luckly most of us have broadband anyway.

oh come on, if i showed you any shot from my gallery (jpeg under 300kb) and similar png, i could bet 1000$ you could never figure out which is which. 
in your case, it's quality AND quantity
besides, you don't really want to publish your shots in too high quality, as some people might get ideas (stealing, printing themselves etc.)
by the way, do you think prints offered on dA are uploaded as PNGs or TIFFs? yeah right! 
however, that's not to say i shoot in JPEG instead of RAW. that's a different story.
i have broadband too, but most users don't. not everyone is living in big cities in G7 countries. they simply won't waste time looking at slow websites, or in this case images. first rule of web design.

Jostain kumman syystä nykyisin olen enemmän kiinnostunut matkustamaan Suomessa kuin ulkomailla.. ei missään ole oikeastaan tällaista luontoa.. tietysti onhan tuolla maailmalla hienoja nähtävyyksiä, mutta loppujen lopuksi Suomen luonto on ihan kauttaaltaan kaunis..

this is a great shot! cool colours! just looks a bit odd to my eyes because of the perspective of the building. almost looks as if the sky does not belong there.
