second, uhm, that's a really good question!
if you mean the ideas, how do I come up with the concepts and stuff... To be honest, most of the work, starts by sketching some form or shape I have in mind, and work on it, Until it looks believable or like a real pokemon you know. Then I justifiy that drawing with a concept, like, searching for some animal or thing that could look like the fakemon I just did.
Like I don't really start drawing with something specific in mind, like, you know, oh Im gonna make a Fire monkey mon, or Im gonna make a battery mon, for example, (well if you tell me to do so, I can find a way to do it, and that looks good) but for me, most of the work comes out of a form I already have in my mind, then if I want it to be something more specific I add some details, put things related to that concept in to the fake, and all that. Also the color is important to determine types of course and the whole vibe you want to give to your fake.

Speaking of questions... Can I ask you for your opinion? ^^ You seem very talented and know how Pokemons should look like, so I was wondering if this animation of mine looks alright. ^^
And yes, it's supposed to be that chubby. XDDD It's like she's asking you to pick her up, or wants that cookie jar from the counter. ^^ I'm still fairly new to Pokemon animations (though had some practice with Super Mario RPG sprites and editing Pokemon sprites) and I'm trying to make it look like it's from the Pokemon game. ^^ (not X/Y, I can't do stuff in HD
