This is great, I love anything related to The Romanovs : D I however just want to say in regards to your comment above that he never slept with Tsarina Alexandra Feodorvna or ANY of her daughters. In fact, he never slept with any member of the Russian Imperial Family. There is only the rumour of an affair with Alexandra and even his murderer, Felix Yusoupov.

There is a bit of controversy because they were sure he was dead after he was shot but they found water in his lungs indicating that he drowned
