Somehow makes me think of Roland the Pistolero in the Dark Tower Cycle from Stephen King. Except he has a kind of auto pistol rather than a six shooter.

I am a big fan of Roland. It will be interesting to see how Idris Elba works out in the Dark Tower movie. I always pictured Roland as Clint Eastwood, but he's way too old now

The hair is generated as an OBJ from Look AT My Hair. I forgot to change the glossiness like I normally do, so it still has some pixelization

What book are you reading? I have an idea for a Western sci-fi/fantasy story and I am always interested to see what else is out there

The book is called Blue On Black. It's a Western/cyberpunk MM romance. I got it for free, and so far, I haven't seen much other than interesting technology to recommend it. (Unfortunately.) But hey, freebie.
What's your idea? My studio fiddled around with an idea for a zombie Western years ago, but never got much beyond the basic characters and plot. It never made it to a script. (Although we did have a wicked cool glowing blue Native American demonic being sketched out.)

I started with combining the clothes, then he need a companion, the desert preset from "TerraDome 3 Iray" seemed appropriate

I tried a bunch of different combinations, this simpler version seemed the better choice

I feel a bit mixed with this picture... The wolf is really excellent, the character is great (may be more metalicity on the pants) but the badlands plants are... bad (too flat since the model is flat). I see you used again the effect on the camera to get a glow effect on the sides!
