hi Joel, im very intrigued by this work here, any chance of knowing the variations and amount you used?

I used lots of custom variations to create this. Some of them have been lost because this was made before plugin support was added to Apophysis and I don't have the apophysis.exe file I used anymore. I don't know what some of the variations do anymore so I can't replicate it again.

Basically, I used modulus (well something similar, but modulus should work just the same) and some post variations (like post_lazy_susan, which I don't think has been released in it's post_ form). I don't know what the other variations else did

One cool trick with modulus is that it can be tiled. The rendered fractal was duplicated 3 times to fit together seamlessly from top to bottom. I adjusted the saturation to get the grays on top and full colour on the bottom.

For me! Thank you, Joel! I'm glad the Ducks saved me the embarrassment of making you an inferior offering. Oh, my, this is so beautiful! I'm in total awe. Thanks.

PS Sorry about your team. But if it makes you feel any better, there's more Canadians on the Ducks than the Senators.

Thanks Natalie!

lol... yeah, there are a lot of Canadians in the NHL For good reason too. Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday evenings is a tradition much like Monday Night football in the US. It is certainly the most popular sport up here.

No need to apologize though. I enjoy the game, win or lose, and I'm jumped on the Ottawa bandwagon after the Ducks downed the `nucks. I actually expected a team in the West to win the cup. The Western teams did very well against the Eastern teams this year -- there are only a few western teams that had a losing record against eastern teams. I remember the Canucks took a road trip to Buffalo (the 1st place team in the regular season), Ottawa (obviously another great eastern team) and some other Eastern teams and beat them all. The Canucks were 8-1-1 against the east and western teams were 82-48-17 against eastern teams. I think the Canucks could have beat the Senators; they just couldn't handle the other western teams.

lol... it's fun to wager though
