Las Vegas Comic Expo T-Shirt designI knew I was gonna do a Can Can girl or Saloon girl for the show since that's the closest you can get to a Vegas showgirl in the 1800's.
I have a good 20 something pages of layed out sketched out unused Lady M pinups and covers and I found one that had the right pose. Unfortunately the board I drew it on was crap ass thin Blueline pro So if you look at the original , the paper around the eyes is worn down from all the erasing I did .
This piece also took me about 3-4 days chipping away to get it right. Like I said that face and eyes I must have drawn about 7 or so times and erased it, just couldn't get those damn eyes right. Once the face was completed and I was ok with everything else fell into place.

DVD go to gnomon I guess. Google is your friend . type in benitez gnomon and Im sure you'll get some hits . I unfortunately don't have any copies to sell otherwise I would .

The detailing in these pieces always blow my mind and as much as I love the coloured and finished prints (Peter's work is outstanding), the pencil sketches really show off all your hard work. It's just wonderful!.
The clothing on this piece aswell as the surround and gun, heck the whole piece has got such detail and a level of quality I can only drool at, and then add to my collection as soon as I am able to order 
It may have taken you a while to complete her expression but it was time well spent imo.

Love your pencil work as always, Joe. Lady M is such an interesting and fun character. Your cloth detail is always amazing to me. Do you create it from scratch or find reference pictures for the details?

Joe, you make everything look so easy! So the fact that mentioned how drawing eyes could be such a pain in the ass, makes me feel a bit more confident. Eyes and noses both difficult to accomplish sometimes. Anyways amazing piece, I'll have to get ur permission one day to get that image tattood. Her wardrobe and rifle are beyond awesome!
