Description Happier with this name as it fits more into the nightmare theme.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

I've been going through some crap time and this image is representing such a wierd time of emotion I'm going through. Model is myself and I used my a combination of my graduation gown allong with a hoodie to achieve the "monk" clothing feel. Thanks to dad for helping me prepare that noose.

Sorry about the not so pretty curtains in the background. You just have to work with what you have

Lens: 18-70 (This was shot at 55mm)

The curtains add a depressingf depth to the pic, plus it is really creepy and the waviness adds a bunch of depth anyway!

he he... great photo! makes you think about the unavoidable end of the line...

I would have tried to leave a little more space beneath the rope... just my opinion! Aside that... I'd give it an A-

keep up the good work!

I totally agree about the space under the noose. Hopefully I can do something else with it.

Thanks a lot for the support!

The black and white tone. Ya Joe...either it's by chance or you had knowledge about it. But I guess you have knowledge about it...

Usually some scientists say that when we dream we see things in Black and White, therefore, the nightmare you have depicted is excellent to support the thesis. Exact feeling of a nightmare, where you cannot see the face of your enemy in your dreams therefore, striking fear within your mind.

The curtains...it looks cheap...bas it makes it like these Japanese/Chinese movies where curtains play a very important role to portray feelings. The color white represents Death in China...Wonderful...

All in all...My brother...Keep up with the super work..

Regards,

You know what I like best about this photo?

The amount of effort that was put into taking it.

The noose looks brilliant. And so detailed for a silhouette. Very well done, Joe!

Thanks habibi. Glad you like it.

The noose is dad's work. He's a genius and pretty much shat his pants when I asked him to help me do one because he thought I was going to kill myself haha. In return he sat and watched me go back and forth between the camera and the curtain. T'was cool
