I was under the impression that Dark Samus's armor WAS her entire body. There is no human looking form under it

It's kinda one of those personal representation of the character sort of things. The idea was that Dark Samus was infused with Space Pirate blood as Samus was with the Chozo. These drawing were done way before I ever played Metroid Prime 2 so I never knew the full story behind her.

Kinda thought of it as a prequel at first but then i decided that samus' suit was heavily damaged and she could only used her gun arm. also dark samus is a human infused with space pirate genetics similar to samus being infused with the chozo.

either that or she's off duty per se, it's tiring to lug that armor around 24/7, im sure her body needs a breath of fresh air too yknow. XD
