I was going to fav it if the dof was actually shallow, but I can't because this is edited. And almost all of its mood is in the maniped blur. I hope the original had a shallow dof, then it would've been a really amazing shot. The problem is a lot of people will think this is the actual photo since you submitted in the Street section. You should at least mention the manipulation you did.

o0o i really like your description..such a good idea, I luv the sharpness along with the blurred man in the distance, with the bright white n the background, excellent yet again. The overall idea i find amazing.

I really don't know how to describe why it is that I like this picture, but I can honestly say it's not simply the attractive woman . . . I do not want to like a piece of art simply because of the appearance of whomever might be depicted. I think the colouring stands out the most to me, it gives the whole image a very classic feel when I think of the pictures from my grandparents' youth that have a similar tone. It's just such an intriguing shot with its skewed focus, but an excellent means of demonstrating the tunnel vision one might have while walking, well, to anywhere really. Certain things stand out, some don't, and life just goes on. I definately enjoy this piece.

The way I see it, you're one of the greatest artists...and one of the greatest people I've ever known.
Beautiful. Perfect. As always, love it.

On the thumb I thought she was half naked. Liked the place. and like the effect used to get here on the point of view. I do it sometimes when the backgound of the picture doesn't match with the advertise...

Every part of the world will fade out... but you won't care as long as you have her with you.
A Voyeouristic extravaganza.

Great tone and desaturated look. I love how the border line is getting disturbed by the legs.
Life is moving onwards and war is just a side effect on a small sign, like announcing next circus.

war became eye candy, and we all started to hide away and masturbate to the sound of gunshots. there were blushes as we passed each other in stairways, and embarassed silences as handshakes swapped newspaper print.

Beautiful the selective use of focus is wonderfully used. I would love to see what you could do with a view camera with all the tilts and skewing of focus possible.
