... been going through a bit of a crisis the past few days...~1.5 hours. Ballpoint pen sketch during class. 20. Tinting in PS.

Feb 20th is my 7 year anniversary with my boyfriend. This describes how I feel about him. Of course my birthday is the 7th, and Valentine's day the 14th...So he went and bought a nearly complete new wardrobe for me...Well, kind, lol. 1 shirt doesn't count as a wardrobe, but still, new clothes.
So yeah... This picture is perfect.

I love the expression. It is a beautiful sketch, simple. I feel that way alot. My boyfriend and I are in a long distance relationship. He's in the infantry, currently at Ft. Riley Kansas. It's a pity that up to now I've not set my Watch settings so I could automatically view your scraps too.
I've fixed it, fortunately. This was the perfect motive to ^.^
It looks almost like some sort of despair has come over their embrace, so craving, so needing.
This piece takes straight to the heart. His gentle touch, her soft wrapping up, the sad, yet reassured faces, ... the closeness they share speaks out of every fragment of this drawing. Great anatomy as well, and lovely details in especially the hair and muscles!
And I honestly find it much too good to be in Scraps. Even when this is "just" a sketch.

"up to now I've not set my Watch settings so I could automatically view your scraps" Hehe, hmm, that's something I do with all people that I watch - I find it interesting to see what they consider scraps, and to see work in progresses and silly weird things that wouldn't normally make it into their galleries. But yeah, my scraps is an interesting place... It's got stuff that I actually quite like, but just aren't clean enough to go into my gallery. ~AnanziP1 managed to convince me to put a few of my comicy images into my gallery, but other than that...

This piece is incredibly meaningful to me, which is why I ended up doing a finished coloured version of it, and you expressed it quite well, I think... It has a dual meaning - it means something to Jayli and Luke, and it means something to me. To them, it's their own personal pains, and the pain of the warring world around them, but it is a shared pain, and they face it together in understanding - it's love that gets them through, even if it is threatened constantly by the struggles of life. For me, it has a similar meaning in my relationship with them, and also my relationship with my boyfriend. I had just gone through one of the worst months in my life that I can remember, and it is they who got me through it. This picture is special to me that way... It reminds me of what I went through, and what I learned from it, and reminds me to appreciate and be thankful for them.
