Hi everyone! I'm Rachel and I really enjoy creating colorful, lively digital artwork.
For this tutorial I'd like to explain my general painting style process. I have a few different styles that I like to use depending on the subject or scene. This time I chose to do something more traditional in appearance, with the help of some customized brushes. Ready? Let's Go, Pinkachu!
Brushes

Special thanks to darekzabrocki for some of these custom brushes used in this tutorial!
I currently use Photoshop CS6 for my digital artwork. I like using Photoshop mostly for its Brush Preset features, as well as its wide variety of layer effects. Posted above is a sample of the brushes that I used to create this piece of art. I used the first brush for the sketch, the second brush for the outlining, and the rest for the shading and detailing.
