They can't just kill her off and leave it at that, cause one word... magic! Magic doesn't play by the same rules as science does, they'll think of something like... her aura is still in tack and Jaune can use his aura to help "bring her back" or something with some weird magic involved. If you look at the "new team" you can get "Team JRRN",  like a journey just without the "Y" or I could be looking to much into the hole thing.
 
I'm not trying to make fun of the idea, I really do hope they bring her back and not as a spirit or something like that

Me too actually. As unlikely as it sounds,I really do hope she somehow comes back because recently I've grown to love the poor girl just as much as Ruby and she certainly did NOT deserve what happened to her at the end. Also you did bring up a good point about Jaune's semblance possibly playing a part to getting her back somehow and if there is I'm betting he'll take that chance to get Pyrrha back without a doubt which I hope so. I'm a supporter of that pairing and after what they went through they deserve to be with each other.

If we're going by "magic fixes everything!" perhaps she was attached to Amber's aura for just long enough that the Maiden's power affected her.

That's possible. Another idea is that Cinder made it appear that she killed Pyrrha but instead kidnapped here or teleported her somewhere to give that effect of death. It does leave a few things open and if you think about it,no one knows what happened to Ozpin so perhaps he could've had the same fate too and got teleported so who knows? It would make for a great twist.

There's just to many unanswered questions that we never got from season 2 ending and season 3. Like how does Yang's mom do that teleporting thing, maybe that's here Pyrrha went. How did Crow turn into a crow? How can Cinder talk to a dragon without getting eaten? And who's the chick that looks like a cross between a Grim and human or Fanus? And that's just a few questions that never got answered, maybe well answers in season 4 when it comes out, but I do know that it's not a smart idea to kill of a main character that you spend 3 seasons letting use get to know, and personally I would love to get to know her history a bit more, and just leave it at that.

Yeah those are some good examples of unanswered questions. Though I've found out recently that her voice actress on Twitter confirmed that she's dead all right and that Mounty Oum planned her death from the start. That said she never said that she wouldn't come back from the dead so perhaps there's still more magic we're not aware of like bringing back back to life or at least see them again as spirits who interact or even evolve into a higher being? Slim right now yeah but still.

All we can really do is wait and see what will happen, isn't there a rumor that Mounty made 20 chapters? Again, a rumor, but who knows Rooster Teeth have done things that the fans have said, like they did with Velvet being made into an actual character and not just someone on the side.

They did mention that but they might trim it down at the end to make the story tighter likely. So yeah some things could be changed from their original purpose like with Velvet you've brought up. Like you said we'll know eventually.

I personally believe the second theory(expect I actually don't, I think she's really dead.) She got the same treatment Ozpin got off camera, and was sent to Salem so she could taunt them more.

Pyrrha's voice actress confirmed on Twitter that she's dead however she never said that she wouldn't come back from being dead somehow so who knows?

they didn't "Bring back church" as an AI, he was always an AI, first the alpha, then the memory of him as Epsilon. Pyrrha's fucking dead bros, your body doesn't just turn to ash and you survive
