This is a really striking piece. Your imagery is definitely innovative, that much can be said. The details you put on the face of the...father beast...are really well done. You definitely have a talent with textures and hatched shading. If in black and white, this could pass for a masterful woodcut print.
I'd like to comment on the father for a bit. That, and the interaction between it, the daughter, and the bear, are incredibly unsettling, and I don't mean that in a bad way at all. The fact that it made me uncomfortable is a really great thing. It really brings to mind images of child abuse, and for some reason because of the shredded bear, sexual abuse. This is further reflected by the post-apocalyptic (2013 Detroit, anybody?) cityscape. For a moment, it reminded me of the Ice King and Marceline from Adventure Time, if you are familiar with that show, but of a much more sinister nature. In short, due to the fact that it's dripping with these dark undertones, your imagery and conceptual sense are fantastic.
Something techniquewise that I'd like to comment on would be the general flattness of the background. In the background behind the dead trees, I feel that the combination of the detailed textures and minimal shading makes that whole area of depth fall flat, almost feeling like those wooden facades that plays and musicals will use to simulate scenery. Maybe playing around with pushing the shadows and how the light moves around in the background, perhaps with more haziness or something of that nature, will really bring out that illusion of depth and dimensionality.

Mutant daddy protecting his daughter. And searching for her lost teddy. >_<

Daddy and the Runaway Teddy Bear.
Digging the decrepit background, with the tattered car, busted pipes and broken building. The rough texture of the trees contrast with the figures on the foreground. Daddy looks completely harmless, and somewhat bewildered that they're chasing some teddy bear which seems to be taken to one bad place to an even worse place. So much for a weekend in the forest.

This is really unique. Is the little girl controlling the lizard thing?Β

I wouldn't say so. He is more like her protector.

I kinda of picture the creature use to be her daddy until something happened to him. XD
Yet he still loves and protect her anyway...
Either way, its very interesting. Love the detail in it.

I looked at this whole thing for a minute. I sorta imagine some kindof postapoco-bad-thing-virus went down and everyone was evolving into monsters and stuff. The dad got bit on the toe and tried to sinch off the virus at his neck so that he'd keep his kind father-brain. it resulted in that grotesque monster man thing.
The characters are great, the environment is great, the post-apoco-teddybear brings adventure time to mind. I don't know if that's my problem or yours, or if it's not even a problem.

That's the opposite of a problem.

Oh wow. Wasn't expecting something like this from the forum but I love it. Like...it's morbid, but somehow still has a friendly, fatherly atmosphere. I love it! Kinda post-apocalyptic feel to it.
