It has been years since my last CARS photoshop and I just got really bored this week during my university's Christmas break (I am currently in sophomore year just in case some of my closest dA friends want to know my whereabouts). I was reading some stuff about GranTurismo 5 in Google and I stumbled upon this image imageshack.com/i/1fversusyj in one of the GT5 photoshop competitions. That motivated me to do at least one photomanipulation of one of the 100+ R35 GT-R photos taken in Malaysia and Singapore. I picked this image because this is one of the rarest breed I have seen so far: the Japan track edition (note the Spec-V rims).Initially I struggled a bit because I almost lost all the steps required to do this photomanipulation, but somehow I managed to recall each of them one by one as I proceed, thanks to one of the songs I love to listen to while doing something: www.youtube.com/watch?v=5WCGt6… .

Thanks man! Although it looks difficult to merge the mouth with the intercooler, actually the process is quite simple. Just do some adjustments, use a light eraser to rub the unwanted areas around the mouth, de-saturate the initial colour and finally adjust the brightness and contrast.
This is my favourite pixarization work jlhy.deviantart.com/art/From-t… but one of the toughest to do. Merging the mouth was more challenging than before and I took some time to figure out how to make the eyes fit into the environment surrounding the car. As a result, I think this is really really realistic!

OMD you so right it's be amaazing but I think they see Finn McMissile more as a cars James bond it's probably why they did him as an old aston martin who was the first car of 007 , right ?

If you ask me, I prefer not to remove the bottom grilles because it might not be realistic enough, even though the mouth may be too small relative to the front of the GTR.
