Description The story is kind of left up to the imagination on this one. I created the image with the intention of letting you come up with your own story as to what may have happened.

Done with PS cs3 in just over 3hrs. I hope you enjoy!

My story is that an exploration craft lost steering and thrusters, thus becoming trapped in the gas giant's gravity. Rather than a slow death of to starvation and radiation from the ruptured core, or being dragged into the crushing depths of the planet, or pulverized by one of the many moons, the captain decided to end it all quickly. So he fired all torpedos on an arc that would bring them back around to hit the ship and set the reactor to begin a meltdown overload just as the missiles fired. The merciful explosion just occurred and what we're seeing is the disintegrated aftermath.

Dude, wow. I love the whole thing, it's just amazing!

Just a quick question: Is there a reason why the shadows on the 2 upper left satellites aren't consistent with the main body? I mean, from a perspective point of view they seem off, but I'm not overly knowledgeable on the subject so I wasn't sure if there was some sort of effect that would cause the light to hit them at a different angle.

To be honest no, the difference in the lighting was just a mistake from doing this piece quickly.
