With a little imagination the branch comes alive. Beautiful effect!

a lovely composition and the branch in the foreground really makes this photo something more than a good sunset

Love the colors. Have you done much post-processing, or is this straight from the camera?

I combined two exposures.
My graduated ND should arrive on Monday

Ok. I already figured you used a tripod or something, based on the shuter speed. I'm planing to do the same with my 350D, get the 'effect/color' that is. Can you refer to any place where I can read more upon these subjects? Right now I'm doing some random google searches.

Not really, I've done all by experimenting almost.
I used a circular polarizer (and the smallest aperture I could get) which gives me a couple of stops more to lengthen the shutter speeds.
Tripod is a must of course. And during the sunset the sun moves quite fast so if you want to combine a few exposures
you have to be fast also. Use a cable release or a remote control if possible.
I have a 300D so you can do it with 350D Experiment with the selective colour adjustement layer in Photoshop at the end of your workflow.
