I bike past this old house in Oulu, Finland almost daily and I have been really intrigued about its looks. Yesterday was an overcast day so I could photograph this wall which textures I really like without a harsh shadow of the roof.-

This is gorgeous. Your photos aren't just wonderful because of the colours and the perspectives but also because they feel alive-- they make the viewer want to step into the frame and become part of that world you've captured so vividly. Thanks, Fred. You are right about that 3d look, I didn't think about it like that before
I used Adobe Lightroom and I added a lot of fill-light and then turned in the blacks quite a much, then I also desaturated this a little bit.

The treatment is really complete, I've never heard f fill-light, I believe it's a Lightroom-only setting ...

I generally walk, ride the bus to school...and ride in a car...no bikes involved, although, the half mile walk to the bus would be much faster on bike....
