----------------------------------------------

Friedrich Trump has reversed a number of policies of his predecessor, and the reduction of a large number of regulations, under the auspices of his Chancellor, Annika Meißner, who is a firebrand on her own.

Minister for Reintegration was created in 1991 to manage the process of ensuring parity between east and west economies, infrastructure, legal integration, and so on.  Traditionally an east German, this post has been responsible for managing reinvestment, infrastructure parity, business investment, family returns, and helping the minister of justice find criminals escaping their crimes committed during the division.

Minister for Culture was created in 1973 to help preserve and promote German culture, and manages sites of historic significance.  The Minister for Conservation and Resources was created in 1981 to help manage the natural resources of Germany as well as ensure sustainable development, and to conserve the environment and manage Germany's national parks.  Environmental protection falls under this ministry, and has helped Germany's coal industry become the cleanest in Europe, and responsibly deconstruct German nuclear plants in favor of newer plants, while replacing older plants with solar or coal plants where possible, hydroelectric, or higher efficiency nuclear plants.

The Ministers of Defense, Justice, and Foreign affairs were the first three cabinet posts created in 1948, responsible for self-defense, legal affairs and advice, and foreign relations.  The Minister for Economics was created in 1949 to help stabilize and boost the economy, becoming the E&T Minister in the 1980s to help manage German technological development across the entire confederated country.  Since the end of WW2, Germany's Defense Force has participated in some actions under UN auspices, notably in Vietnam with the US, Iraq in 1991 and 2003 with the US, and in Jamaica and Haiti upon invitation by the UN in 2019.  The minister for foreign affairs has, since 1948, been a strong supporter of Israel and kept a strong German-Israeli relationship.  Germany supported Israel with weapons and finance during the 1967 six-day war, and during the 1973 crisis as well, and the location of its embassy in Jerusalem.

The minister for agriculture was created in 1949 to help ensure there was enough food produced in Germany to feed its own people, without relying on foreign aid, and began to take on additional duties of consumer protection in the 1970s.  This post was instrumental in banning glyphosate from Germany in 1977, even though the United States continued to use the substance to the present, despite cancer risks.

The minister for transport was created in 1948 soon after the founding of the republic to help rebuild the Autobahn and railways, and was instrumental in getting the high speed rail developed and implemented from Memel to Aachen, from Breslau to Hamburg, and all in between.  The Minister for Energy was founded in 1955 to manage nuclear and coal energy, but was folded into the Transport ministry in the 1990s, and soon took on the development for sustainable energy sources, leading to the widespread adoption of LED lighting in Germany in the 2010s, solar panels on most homes in the east, and helped push clean coal technology in Alsace-Lorraine and Silesia.

President Trump's government has worked very well with the President of Austria, Jenna Biedermann, from the ÖVP (Austrian Peoples' Party), who was the youngest head of state in Europe when she was elected.  Her grandfather is a Texas German who helped rebuild Austria after WW2, and her father is one of his sons who was born in and stayed in Europe, becoming a finance guru and building the country up financially, and linking Bozen to Preßburg by rail.

Given the state of the United States since 2016, and the EMP which exploded over the US in 2019, the German and Austrian Presidents have since worked more closely with the Confederates, with whom they have coordinated against the UN takeover of the United States and Europe.  As of 2021, Germany, Poland, Austria, Czechia, Hungary, and the Netherlands have formed a coalition against the EU's takeover by the UN, and have removed the migrants from Europe, and are working to free the rest of Europe.  Given its history, Germany asked Poland to lead the coalition and put its armed forces under the Polish leadership.

His image came up while searching for people from the 1940s and 1950s whom I could use for the era.  I probably could've found actual politicians but, as one radio host said, politics is show business for the ugly, so I went with actors/actresses who look better than politicians tended to look.
