I have a question. I notice there is haze or fog near the lower parts of the city. How is that dealt with during a camera move? Is the fog a 3D simulation in the 3D scene? Or was it painted in 2D, in which case I am wondering how it was used in the final shot.

hi, unlike other matte painters when I work with 3D camera projection I work my atmosphere effects in separate layers. in 3D, thus I have total control for ground fog, Z depth fog and other atmospheric events, when I work with 2D or 2.5D mattes, I paint the atmosphere
