Im doing a project in music on any current musician/composer and i chose Adam Young from owl city X3 so after listening to 'Fireflies' to figure out its meaning, it REALLY made me wanna draw another picture with the song XDi wanted something peaceful, inspirational, natural, and pretty 83 i managed to get most of that XD
but im REALLY proud of how this came out (though in a month or two ill probly hate it XD)
Jindo only took like 20- 30 minutes.. o.o the background took at least 2 and a half hours. I like the outcome though, so thats what counts, right?
the poemy thing looked cool on it so i put it there
it represents the picture cuz shes walking through a dark forest, and the fireflies are there to guide her path hope you like it! ^-^
also, I KNOW the highlights on the front tree are too sketchy or so XD thats not a big issue for me right now. the trees were made 'sketchy' for a reason

Funny how one song can have so many different interpretations and yet the same mutual effect? I drew a picture with a similar idea in mind, however yours is far more creative than mine and in my mind, far prettier in color, fashion, and technique.
The colors are raident, love the trees. The sketchy lines make the tree beautiful and smei-realistic because no tree truly has straight lines or certain frames. They are as individual and people themselves and beautiful in their own way. I love the character, beautiful and the placement is perfect. The fireflies are cute and make the picture look wonderful, giving it both it's name and meaning.
Your shading is magnificant.I wish I took the time to shade/shaded as well as you do. You are a truly gifted and blessed artist of wonderful talents.
The grass is cute, and pulls the picture together. The path gives the picture depth and creativity. The awed expression on Jindo is inspiring. Such emotion so beautifully and skillfully captured in this masterpeice! You've done an excellent job, in my opinion, in displaying the song by Owl City as well as the beauty of nature itself! Again, wonderful job.
However, there are a few minor details that coul use work and most of them you can surely see yourself. One in particular that stuck out to me was the right forepaw, it seems a little off perhaps in one direction. Generally canines forepaws are forward and not to the side unless their veering that direction(Which I'm unsure of your intentions) but it seems to put Jingo off balanced to me, my opinion. The trees again are beautiful, but the tree trunks that gives the picture depth seem to look a little awkward to me for some reason, i don't know. But at any rate the picture is beautiful. Keep up the excellent work and may God continue to bless you!

I really think that this is one of your best pictures. The pose is really well drawn with awesome shading. I can't even begin to tell you how much I like the background. I love the way the trees bend around the path! Ohhhh, and the grass poking out looks magnificent.
