Thank you. Believe it or not it was a last minute change. At first it was going to be a much more heavy, dark background mostly consisting of black, red and some doodles, and symbols that would resemble the ones you see on the team's van The Mystery Machine (that was the name I think?) but fortunately I realized it was a pain in the eyes so I opted to revert to a simplistic yet effective color that would mirror Velma's own color scheme.

It's truly fascinating how a second glance can alter our opinion on what we think would work at the time, isn't it? Not to mention that a deceptively simple background can actually draw attention to the main subject of the artwork. In any case, I'm glad you decided to go with the background that you chose in the end.

In all seriousness now though, I used to draw slimmer thighs but lately I've been enjoying this more chubby style, with bigger curves and all that. Well, that's depending on the girl of course. I thought Velma should have that kind of look as opposed to Daphne whom I imagine I'd draw far more slimmer.
