One of the things I love about your gallery is that I always find something in there that I somehow missed before, or just mistakenly overlooked. I love this one! I can totally see it on a wall. You are a true artist, Jill.

Pretty nice composition. What are these polaroid textures you speak of?

Ah, that's pretty cool. You'll have to start making as many textures as you can though. Polaroid is going to stop making the "instant" film next year, I believe.

Yep... Polaroid won't stop making instant cameras though. They currently have prototype cameras that use a film embedded with a powder / material that basically makes the image with an inkjet of heat. Similar to receipt printers that use heat, but the material has colors available. Different temperature, different color. It also doesn't work like current printers where there's a head that "scans" the surface to reproduce the image. It's produced all at once. Really, a pretty cool technology. It's also faster than previous polaroids too. The image is already developed before the film even leaves the camera.

Ah, yes, that's what it's called. I'm kinda excited about it because if it's altered by heat, then I wonder what would happen if you took a lighter to it! Craaaaaazy effects!
