ah right, you're american aren't you? wellll Eurovision song contest is a (mostly) really shitty song contest between European countries, created in my opinion only to give them a chance to embaress themselves in front of the whole of Europe and laugh at the others in one breath. it takes place every year and usually is torture on surprisingly entertaining level. it's quite fun to watch haha. I dare say there were a few good ones this year though.. like the representative of Norway (who won) and the Uk wasn't bad either. Austria didn't even make it to the finals (a-gain) but I dunno what our country came up with this year anyways. I'm not sure I want to either.. haha
