I tried some painting stuff;;; It doesn’t look like I even did it, but… oh well. I listened to this song on repeat for hours while I drew this. [link]
I loved the Ice King before all this back story stuff so this just makes me love him more. Oh my god

Do you happen to know the episodes lol? I've already seen the 2 episode special of the Ice King's video recordings, but I have no clue what episode Marceline plays a role in his past. 
About your drawing, gawww so many feels (even though I can't understand them to the fullest extent SOB). And ohmygaw you should do this shading style in your future drawings!

Her connection with him was mostly in this episode, like, at the very end. The "I Remember You" episode.
So, since you've seen the ones with his recordings, you know some of that. It's like... she was there before he went all... Ice King; And he forgot everything and she remembers it all.
It's like... ugh, so sad. Her life is like... wow. When the episode came out, people in the Adventure Time tag went crazy with all the little things in the episode.
Like, what was in the Ice King's "The Past" room. There was some "EAT" sign that was at a place that Marceline ate at, where her dad stole her fries. (Which some people thing that the Ice King gave her the fries but I don't think so. I don't know how long ago it was.)
That teddy bear monkey thing that the Ice King gave to her at the end of the "I Remember You" episode was featured in a few old memories that she had growing up. She got really upset because her ex-boyfriend sold it to a witch to get some spell thing. Yeahhhhhhhh, I like it when AT gets deep. Even though it's just a cartoon.
Thank youuu, I'm trying to do some more with shading and coloring since this was really fun to do.
But I don't think the shading goes with my style; I already tried a chibi.

I don't notice everything, though. A lot of that stuff had to be pointed out by others.
Mmm... yes and no. I like the way I color, I just think I need to find a better way to do it;
I also need to try it with my... normal style. Oh god, that'll take me even longer. Lol;;

I was really motivated to do this. Like, really motivated;
So, I don't know when the next time I'll do something like this. But it was fun do to Adventure time style! Ice King was hard; But his beard was the most fun part!

Lol pfft your stuffs not boring. It's just usually her characters that I know nothing about or other characters that you never told me about that usually go with hers. So I usually don't know what to say without sounding repetitive.
