Description
Name: N/AOrigin: ???
Fighting style: acrobatics-based martial arts
Design notes: moving away a bit from the cultural stereotype school of design, I wanted to come up with a character with a cool and unique moveset and I ended up getting inspiration from gymnastics, acrobatics, circus performance type stuff and whatnot. I imagine her being kind of a tricky character with unique movement options. Maybe her specials would be largely air based.

What about Seryn as her name?
The origins are unknown, so there's room for a lot of invented names. And Seryn is one I invented.
While writing this comment, I also misspelled "her" name, writing Seryin. That's another idea.

This character is definitely moving more in that direction. She started off as a gymnast basically but I definitely want to develop her into more of a weird and mysterious character. Something like Voldo or Zafina from Tekken, with kind of unnatural movement and strange attacks. I haven't really had the time to develop these ideas further but something like that is what I have in mind.

this gotta be my least favourite design of the bunch, don't know why though... somehow reminds me of Mortal Kombat, and I don't really like their designs. her fighting style sounds cool though.

That's fine, I certainly don't expect everyone to like everything, and even my favourite games have some designs I don't care for.
I can't say MK was an inspiration but with the leotard outfit I guess I can see the connection. Maybe you will feel differently once you get to see her in action.

Yeah of course some designs take time getting used to, and in some cases the fighting style is indeed their redeeming factor. And yeah, every game has at least that one character you dislike haha.

She looks one impressive and hot looking fighter I do have a couple of names for her, she could be called Phoenix and her Origin can be that she was abandoned by her mother at a Chinese/Russian circus where she learned everything she needed.Β
While on show in Mexico she gets to see a wrestling championship match and is hooked instantly.Β
