Description Like I said in a former fanart, this is just one of those instances, where two (or more) completely unrelated things become interlinked in your consciousness.
For me, that's Auckland and Polarshipping (and the Pet Shop Boys, which I listened to extensively during my exchange year). It was the first time I had regular internet and a scanner, which meant i could actually partake in my fandoms, instead of just consuming, and Yu-Gi-Oh was pretty much my number one obsession during that time.
So this is a little nod to that. Maybe I'll do another one for the musical influence.
The tower is of course the Sky Tower, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, and it was the center of this composition from the start, with everything else sorta growing around it.

Kastuya Jounouchi and Mai Kujaku (Yu-Gi-Oh!) are (c) Kazuki Takahashi
Auckland Sky Tower is (c) Craig Moller Ltd. (Architect)

Awwww, this is really nice. I like how you include influences that mean a lot to you in your Polarshipping work, like the Auckland association. :3
