Description
This picture has been waiting to be finished forever... Ishizu is not exactly my favorite character (I can't relate to her very well, she's so enigmatic and distant for most of the show, I have trouble connecting to people like that), but I quite like her design, and her family's story is interesting.

Whelp, I completely forgot to comment on this one so far!
I quite like Ishizu's character design, as well, though as I think I mentioned, I'm not super fond of the veil thing. Is that supposed to be ancient Egyptian? Because I don't recall ever seeing any pictures/statues of people wearing something like that, but of course, I'm far from an expert. I would have LOVED to see a modern hijabi woman on YGO, that would raise so many questions - mostly, how does she reconcile being Muslim and all the shenanigans involving Ancient Egyptian gods? But that's clearly not what this is, either. So idk. Confusing.
But! I love how you drew her in this picture, the dark skin tone, big hands, muscles on her arms. My only critique, maybe, would be that I find the radiance effect rather distracting, I liked it better when her face was in full view (I think that was the version I saw before? idk.)

Tbh, I had a specific effect/filter in mind for this, but I couldn't for the love of me remember how to achieve it in Photoshop, so I had to bs my way around it^^
The veil, yeah... I always thought it was more of a practical thing, protection against the sun (since Ishizu is obviously not muslim). Or maybe, since she entered the Battle City tournament in disguise, it was to better camouflage herself, since she never (even later when back in Egypt) wears the veil again.

ah yes. The well known YGO concept 'wear something outrageous that hides some parts of your body and somehow you'll be anonymous because nobody will ask why you're being shady.'
