This is a Commission peice for ~seru-crescent . The request was for me to do a full color image of "Genesis Rhapsodos" from Final Fantasy 7, complete with his Wing and his Sword "Rapier".Done On Cardstock, using Copic Multiliners, Colored with Copic Sketch Markers, and Modified with Photoshop CS2
This is the finished version if this image, the sword was colored over with red shades using Copic Markers, and then further modified on Photoshop for the ideal color as per the Commissioner's request. The Background was actually created using water colors and salt on a seperate peice of paper.
All in all, I'm still really happy with this image, and it should land me in good stead for the next Genesis Commissions from ~seru-crescent .

This is absolutely awesome. How did you paint the background with out getting Genisis so perfectly? That is insane and the sword detail is amazing.

as for the background, (and as I mentioned in my comments) I painted it on a separate peice of paper, and then combined both images in Photoshop. I liked the colored version of Genesis so much I didn't really want to dare coloring the background on the same page and risk the bleeding, ... hence the experiment, I'm rather pleased with it all considered.

and anytime Genisis is awesome....actually would you by any chance have watched the fight between him and Seph...Angeal is there too? Because Ive only seen the Japanese version and I cant figure out what Genisis says at the end to Seph...it seems important and its a mad awesome fight.
