"Ow stop that!" Matthew said when Giliath led out a loud neigh before he started to snort and pawing around.
"He get's bored ..." Jian said with a giggle.
"More heated up by those mares, I think." Matthew bounced back.
Giliath was one of those typical stallion. Always showing of with a lot of noise and movement. He wasn't that bad, but put him in a crouded area, like the Warming up arena and he could become pretty nervous.
"He'll shut up when we are inside ..."
Giliath neighed again.

The stallion was more silent when he entered the arena however. Certainly when he saw the reflection of the water on the sand. For him it looked like he was gonna walk into water, so he also made a weird jump when he noticed it was just regular sand. He snorted frustrated because he could find out what this now was. And those passing shadows of the fish were pretty distracting.
"stay with me." Matthew whispered when he gave Glliath as small tick with his hand on his neck. Still, the stallion wasn't so sure of this entire arena.

Though when the music started to play, he fell back in the routine he had trained in. That music was for his the sign to the moves they had been doing together for the past months. And the firm hand and grip of his rider pushed him forward in the ring, without fearing the flickering light of the water.

For Matthew is was another experience. and deep in his heart, he cried. The last time he entered the Olympics, he was riding his beloved stallion Beethee ... 15th. There they had ended the last time. And it had also been a huge change for the stallion itself as he got a huge accident after it, turning the stallion completely blind.
A few years ago, he died of old age.
But his legacy was still living and Matthew was determined to do it again.

Guess you didn't expected to see another entry so fast
well, it's my own fault in fact I totally miscalculated my time. for some unknown reason, I kept thinking the deadline was end October ... so you had to see me last night when I figured out it was over 2 weeks
anyway, 3 entries done, only 1 to go
I already know I'm not gonna be able to finish all extra pictures, but I will see what I can do. I still have some other deadlines to make. so after this, I'm first gonna do some relaxed work before I start with my last entry

I guess people are thinking this is a pretty simple entry ... maybe the looks are, but for me it wasn't
beside, with this angle and a huge dressage arena, it was impossible to add something or the arena around it, without making my rider to small ...
so I tried to focus on effects and shading.
