Description a little kid composing a little point and shoot camera at the streets and city scene infront of us, as i stood on top of a concrete banister on georgia street. i’ve had this photo for a while, and is probably the last photo, besides “Squares” i’ll be uploading from the old computer. i recently got a new pc that doesn’t have the reactions of a parliament building, running hdmi and windows 7, & adobe lightroom, since it’s the software that we’re gonna be using in school (too bad i wasn’t able to get a mac too ), and will be looking forward to learning how to use it, together with photoshop cs4. maybe expect a few stock portraits every now and then.
this photo reminds me of the times i would steal my dad’s camera every once in a while. an expensive mischief since it was a film one hahahah. i used to do this sort of thing and just point it at random people i see on the streets or the mall. wonder if this kid will stick to photography when he grows up. even though it’s an old shot, it’s still my response to London’s new law that they have released recently, allowing police to search photographers on the street for no reason at all. seriously, would you search a little kid for doing this sort of thing on the streets?

Good capture and excellent comment!

The U.K. anti-terrorism laws and the clamp down on photography is stupid beyond belief! I dread the same fascist law being introduced to Ireland. I took a photograph of 3 women photographing a store front in Dublin, on my last stroll around town. I chatted with them, they were from the U.K. One told me her daughter was taking a photography course and was running into trouble because of the new laws. She had been photographing buildings and was told to delete the images by security or they would call the police. She was standing on a public street, ffs!
I gave my old Olympus fixed lens to my 7 year old on the way home from school one day, he wanted to try street photography Lots of blurry shots, the road, cars busses etc. but he got a couple of beauties! People walking past us were amused by the short-stop photographer lining them up in his sights!

it's ridiculous indeed. it's almost like a
Nazi regime. i don't understand why kids
should be a part of the law, i mean, they're
the ones being targeted by pedophile retards
anyways. i've gotten hasseled by security and
downtown ambassadors as you've probably read
in my past deviation before, but i think that's
just because i'm a little out of bounds when it
comes to private property laws and what not, but
to release a law like that against photography,
specially in the street genre, is like banning
photjournalism and the news media of all kinds.
totally retarded. it's always great seeing kids
with cameras i remember shooting an assignment
for school last december, and i saw a group of kids
taking pictures, with this little boy hand holding
a canon 5d!
