Here's another one for Wolfboi, since he's been such a good sport.
Seriously, this guy has been hanging in there for years waiting for me to get my flight training done so I can make a commission for him. I think he's earned a freebie.Anyhow, here's a concept that he came up with; taking that cool Zero armor from the un-released game Mega Man Online and turning it wolfish! I don't know if this is what he was expecting, but it's what came to my mind, so I hope he likes it for the effort at least.
Urgh, new tablet just about drove me crazy! It gave me so much trouble, I had to uninstall the driver and go back to ol' faithful (my older tablet). I haven't given up on the Intuos5 yet, but I don't think I'm going to work with it if I have serious work to do; it's just too buggy. I will have to experement with it at a later time, when I can afford to goof off. I have no doubt it will teach me a thing or two.
If you take a gander at the top right corner, you'll see some itty-bitty logos. I have to add credit where it's due; I used some custom made brushes from other DA users for the background. The foreground image, with the color, is all me though. Oh, wait, I did use some leaf brushes on the stump, a rock brush on the rock for texture, and I used a Painter X preset for the vines. I should be honest. ^_^

Just my opinion, but I don't think this Zero needs a tail. Since he has such long hair, it kind of creates a visual illusion that he has one, especially the way I depicted it here, with it being wavy at the points it is. If I gave this a tail, it would actually add unnecessary complexity (not to mention weigh Zero down and make him less sleek).
It's a good catch though! I'm glad you like the illustration, I'm never sure if you're going to like what I do. XD

The tail question was rhetorical anyway...he does not need one what with that long hair of his like you said. Still, his hair would actually weigh him down a lot more than a tail would as it would only help to improve balance (if we wanted to go with some real world physics) but since we aren't then it does not matter.

I do agree that Zero's in character hair is over the top (really pretty, but over the top) and would weigh him down. I think the inclusion of it was to make him more flashy, and, as said in MegaMan X Complete Works, to give Zero a different silhouette then X. That was actually very important in the design for the developers.
But on to this: When I was referring to the tail not being necessary, I was talking as if I were to include it in addition to the hair. I would have to agree, if Zero didn't have the hair a tail would be pretty cool on him in this form. Make him more Lycan if nothing else. As for the balance thing, I think we would have to consider the difference of those using four legs as opposed to those using two, as both would have a different center of gravity which would give a tail a different function. Predators like dogs and cheetahs use tails like a rudder to help with turning at high speeds, but I really feel that kind of benefit would be lost on a biped. They can't really have that kind of aerodynamic build to reap that kind of reward, but a tail could benefit in other ways, like a distraction for instance. But I digress! Like you stated, not really important. I'm just happy you like the work done.

Pffffffft, argue? You will know if I'm arguing, I use much sharper language then that! 
But anyway, the bottom line is that you like this, as I did this for you! I feel kind of bad for not using the new tablet on it, but it was giving me too many headaches. At least now I can get to work on art I have wanted to do for others, who also have been waiting years!
