I've admired these lines for sometime so I finally decided to slap some colors on 'em . This piece was penciled by one of if not the greatest anime artists, Yutaka Minowa.Related content

So this is where that image is from. Why isn't there more Outlaw Star fan art like this? This awesome anime series was so underrated. Don't know how Trigun and Cowboy Bebop become more popular then this show. I think all 3 should be considered classics.

May I ask where you got the lines for this? Because I have the official coloured in version of this, but I was never able to find a line art version.

A very very long time ago Yutaka Minowa had his own website showcasing some super sick stuff line art. I printed it out and saved. Many years later I scanned and colored it. I have no idea if the site is still open though I'm guessing not.

I love that style of coloring. It's a little reminiscent of the still works they did for the preludes to the episodes. Very nice.
