Description I must admit, I had a lot of fun making this one. I ended up making a ridiculous amount of layers to get everything to look the way I wanted, but I think it payed off. I know having a single tree in a picture is getting rather clichΓ© these days, but this was the image that popped in my brain, so I tried to bring it to life exactly as I imagined it.

It's funny you should mention that, Sara! It wasn't until I actually uploaded the picture and saw the thumbnail version of it that I realized how all of the "white lights" made things a bit misleading. I'll have to revisit this picture soon and dim those background lights and hopefully that will be enough to fix the problem.

I'm sure my perseption of this work is different than what you probably imagined. but this screams death, destruction, apocalypse, mayhem and an end.

HOWEVER! It is very beautifully put together and can just as easily be symbolic to life.

I'm pretty sure the Clouds being on the lower half almost look like an explosion and the orange burning feeling I'm getting, is leading me to my own odd conclusion.

Amazing job though!

To let you in on a little secret, I was actually trying to illustrate something beautiful yet tragic in a way. The only hints I really gave about this was the title (that I have intentionally left somewhat vague, so as not to force people to see this as I do), and the fact that the tree is alone and basically dead. I'm really thrilled about how you interpreted my picture!
