Another update before i go on vacation!i didn't get to finish it because of my work
I am also working on a drawing of Teddy (my dog) that's on brown paper. It works really well because she is white

wow, so far that is really good, very smooth, soft, and yet with clear and strong lines. I just hope you will bring out the bright values, too!
