Wowsa! What a surprise to come across this image on DA! My friend Starlight in high school had a wall poster of it on the bedroom door and absolutely loved it. It's surreal that I've found the person whose source it is. Love your faerie artwork. It's all very beautiful and devilishly cute at once.

My very own obsession with fairies was fueled by this image staring back at me in my first visit to a Hottopic, (when they were still rare) when i was about 17.
I simply adore it.
I took it as what i would want to look like, were I a Fey.

Thank you! When I did this piece I'd had one year of college art training (in VCU's AFO program) and 2 years of art in High School, otherwise self taught from observation and practice.
Though as of now, I have a BFA in Communication Arts from VCU, and my style is a little different in my newer work.

i never knew who drew this fairy for the longest time and i looked around for a long time. i saw a lady on TV get this tattooed i think on her back. i can't remember.
