I agree with this. maybe that's how romeo and Juliet would have been made. (cept without the killing themselves of course)

Don't feel dumb.
Well, Shakespeare had a penchant for writing tragic romances about young star-crossed lovers. In Romeo and Juliet in particular, the couple are from feuding families and have the sort of us-against-the-world dilemma.
Dramione follows a similar theme, where they're from (,in some ways,) warring classes of Wizarding kind, pureblood and muggleborn, not to mention the Dark vs the Light. Frequently their fan fiction stories end tragically, and if not, they usually start in the sort of us-against-the-world vein... For Hermione it's usually Harry and Ron, while Draco's up against his family, blood status, and service to the Dark Lord.
Hope that was understandable and not too long-winded.

Too true, Shakespeare would have written something for them, as a way to tell Draco's parents that he loved Granger. And because star crossed lovers is what we all look for now days anyways, it always ends up being the star crossed lovers who end up happy together.

That sounds fairly true. If Shakespeare would have written it though, it could have just ended as it. They don't get to be together in the end, for one reason or another.
