preliminary sketch of how Gumball meets Marshall. the perspective is kind of off but I'll fix that + color this later. i just wanted to get the idea jot down.also, gumball is holding a rose, and is surrounded by a few other roses whose petals are falling off and down the cliff, where marshall happens to be. And of course marshall loves the color red, so he's attracted to the petals. (He probably wants to suck the red out of them!) will it be love at first sight?

I really REALLY like this pic and the concept, though I must point out one mechanical point of the piece... roses grow on bushes, not as single flowers in the ground. Other than that it's fantastic. Even if you decide not to change that I will love the finished product unconditionally. Besides, there's a vampire and a kid made out of bubble gum... I think roses growing as single flowers is plausible enough XD
