Description Werewolf’s.

Genetically advanced super soldiers that where created by the vampires for use as a powerful foot soldier against the PK "Paladin Knights.”
Through the use of advance genetic engineering, the vampires perfected a werewolf virus, also known as lycanthropy. This virus, if enters the blood stream, is attacked and engulfed by the white blood cells of the host. Once the virus is within the cell, it then takes it over and rewrites its DNA, and then hijacks the nutrients intended to sustain the white blood cell in order to replicate. After a sufficient number of viral clones have been produced, the additional virus cells are then expelled back into the blood stream where the process is repeated. From there, the virus will then begin to infect the other cells in the host’s body. With the help of the blood stream, the virus can infect and alter the DNA of every cell in the host’s body within a little under a month. By this time, the infection is incurable and the effects are permanent.

After the infection process has run its course, the cells in the werewolf’s body will appear as normal cells would while inert. However, if adrenalin is released into its system, then the cells become active, causing them to triple in size and take on an alternate shape. These two cell phases, active and inert, are responsible for the two different forms a werewolf possesses. In its human form, the infected host still takes on a significantly different appearance then other humans. As such, the host can be easily identified and taken down as it is considerably weak in this form despite its heightened senses of smell and hearing. An example of some of these traits would be: a fully developed coat of fur, sharper teeth, slightly pointed ears, and, in rare cases, a tail. However, in the host’s more bestial form, the werewolf’s strength, speed, and endurance become super human. The host’s body will even triple in size; however, despite this the host’s weight remains constant...unless it feeds. A fully mature werewolf must eat its weight every two to five days or risk starving. This amount may vary from 500 lbs. to 1000 lbs. and also depends on how often and/or how long it remains in its beast form. This characteristic plays particularly well to the vampires needs as they can often provide for their soldiers, earning their allegiance. This trait of devotion was in fact the main reason why spliced wolf DNA was chosen in the creation of the vampires’ soldiers. Wolves, by nature, are compelled by a deep respect for authority, and isolating this trait shaped a soldier whose loyalty was unrivaled.

Despite a werewolf’s sense of loyalty, the mind of a werewolf is fickle and easily corrupted. Werewolves as a whole will submit to any form of leadership capable of sustaining their gluttonous diet, among their other needs. Additionally, werewolves’ emotions are different as well. While normal human beings are capable of experiencing a wide variety of mild emotions in varying degrees, werewolves are subjected to a far more intense variety. Where a human would feel sad or angry, a werewolf would feel miserable or absolutely livid. At the same time, where a human would feel contentment and happiness, a werewolf would feel giddy and blissful. As hard as a werewolf’s emotions are to control, the most relevant factor in this is the moon. As the moon wanes the emotional levels of a werewolf tend to decline almost to the level of a normal human. However, when the moon waxes, the emotional levels of the werewolf are prone to escalate and as such make it far more likely to trigger a transformation. If the werewolf can manage a level head long enough, it is possible for it to abstain from changing despite the presence of a full moon. However, this is very difficult as the slightest thing can set them off.

To this day, there is no known cure for lycanthropy; however, the virus itself can be easily purged from the host’s body making it so that it can no longer infect others. Unfortunately the process of removing the virus creates a setback though. As it is the virus itself that is sensitive to the high conductivity of metals such as copper and silver, if the virus is purged the werewolf will no longer be susceptible to them. Their weakness to silver and other highly conductive metals is among the few ways to weaken or kill a werewolf; vaccinating them is a method rarely used.

This looks brilliant! Great job on the shading and background and overall structure. ^_^
.......

HOWEVEEEEEEEER...

Here comes Miss Nitpick, it would be great, if you'd make the waist a bit more wider and the same for calves and it'd be perfect.
But that's just my personal opinion.

I see what you mean with the waist and calves,XD ill try to fatten them up a little later using puppet warp though I think I may have deleted the original file accidentally. I'm trying to recover it but I think I may have lost it by saving over it with the wrong file. ^-^; thanks so much for the critique don't ever be afraid to mention stuff like that when you see it, it can only help me. also if ever you need a critique too just ask. I would be more than willing to share my constructive opinion when its needed

Oh, you really don't have to. I just wanted to point that out. ^_^"
I just made a little critique in Josh's style, as a joke. I wasn't really worried about criticizing your work, I just wanted it to sound valid.
Speaking of which, I would really appreciate if you'd give more detailed opinion on Garreth hadonosanyosan.deviantart.com/… aside from just "He's cute." or "He looks awesome." I know that's probably asking for much, but I really need to know.
Oh, and speaking of being afraid, it looks like Josh's words were true - "You're (me) worrying too much."

lol whoops I misread Jereth as Gabriel. Still being a werewolf would be pretty fun as long as you could control it.

Thanks. Had my nose to my book for so long I have to say it feels good to be drawing again. I'll be doing some illustrating in a bit.
