Hey, recently Deadpool's been a straight-up hero. Sure, he's insane and is a very BAD hero, but he's a hero nonetheless. Deathstroke pretty much spends most of his time murdering people.

The only reason Deathstroke is used and misused like that is because most writers grew with Wolfman's Titans but never grasped the subtlety of the character or the method to him...Β

Deadpool is definitely the ripoff. But it's basically okay because they have straight up addressed that he's a ripoff. His name is even Wade Wilson, while Deathstroke's is Slade Wilson.
