just curious on what technique/method you use to get those flowers.... like how you figure out the right amount of positive vs. negative space?

The flowers were drawn one lazy Spanish afternoon from my mattress pattern while I was sunbathing in my balcony. And then redrawn on paper with lipstick the following day.

Drawing in different layers. Well, there's some acrylic splattering in the background as well. There's not really a category for my work in dA. I don't want to label mine under "digital" cos mostly they're not. I don't consider my work digital if it's only edited in Photoshop. What to do what to do...

Yes. Maybe. I'm still keen on stressing the 99,99% traditional free hand side of things. Mixed media sounds too digital to me.

Thanksyouh. I didn't want to spoil it with their eyes. Don't get me wrong, I love drawing eyes, I think they're one of the best parts ususally, but this one didn't need them.
